The 2024 edition of ESG Rewards and TALK&IN

The 2024 edition of ESG Rewards and TALK&IN was conducted at the Treviso and Belluno Chamber of Commerce on April 4, 2024.

The theme “The Value of Transparency” was highlighted through the analysis of over 600 micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in the Veneto region, which have worked to enhance their visibility and, consequently, their transparency and valuation. Through a comprehensive qualitative-quantitative assessment, the participating companies were recognized for their commitment, achieving a markedly improved standing compared to that they would have obtained lacking on transparency.

In the 2024 edition of ESG Rewards, the recognition was awarded upon seven companies from diverse sectors and sizes, reflecting the entirety of the economic landscape, ranging from artisanal enterprises to large industrial entities.
The reward emphasized multiple distinguished achievements from each recipient, highlighting the most impactful and visionary elements that can inspire and serve as exemplary models for others.

Bio-economy and resource awareness are central to the corporate strategy.

Since 1970, water consumption in paper mills has decreased by 50%. Lucart has long committed to sustainability, presenting 19 sustainability reports. Undoubtedly, this commitment permeates the entire governance and consequently the company at all levels.
The recovery of poly-coated beverage containers and the resulting creation of an industrial hub with a molding plant for recycled plastics, with infinite potential use in sectors where the Lucart Group was not previously present, is another relevant driver.

The Lucart Group actively invests in sustainability and firmly believes in its importance, supported by well-structured and meticulously followed annual reports. The combination of commitment and perseverance yields results; the outcomes for the Lucart Group are tangible, demonstrating positive economic and social impacts. K-Adriatica SpA

In 2000, K-Adriatica established the first plant in Italy for the production of compacted mineral fertilizers, replacing the conventional chemical reaction production technology. The development of each new product adheres to the internal MCFP® protocol, which ensures the quality and effectiveness of nutritional solutions at all times and locations.

Granular fertilizers contribute to reduce energy consumption, while the enhanced quality with more uniform granules makes them suitable for precision agriculture. The compacted products utilize a dry granulation process borrowed from the pharmaceutical industry, which employs mechanical compression to agglomerate raw material particles using only electrical energy. This method facilitates the production of compact granules without the need for solvents, which are typically required in conventional granulation processes and can affect the product’s final solubility.

In 2015, the Managing Partners founded the Kappa Foundation, dedicated to enhancing quality of life and promoting environmental protection, extending beyond the core activities of K-Adriatica.

Molino Rachello srl

Ossida srl

Ossida operates in a sector with a significant environmental impact, which has witnessed considerable relocation to countries less attentive to the environmental implications of processing.

Through sustained investments over time, Ossida has successfully attained two environmental certifications and the quality mark for anodized aluminum. Additionally, Ossida has established a chemical laboratory for quality control, engages in shared social awareness initiatives, and has formed a dedicated team focused on process choices that prioritize human safety and environmental protection.

Ossida’s investments in technologies aimed at minimizing environmental impact—including emission reduction towers, targeted water management, and selective sourcing of chemicals—have been crucial over time. The decision to adopt a nickel-free approach initially limited the product range, but ultimately emerged as a pioneering choice. These strategies exemplify how a resolute long-term vision can yield significant rewards.
